You need to make a username. There are some rules.

A few more rules.

Okay a lot of rules.

Type something in the box. Watch it fail. Fix one thing, break something else. Slowly realize you've spent 10 minutes trying to make a username that contains both a prime number and an animal and doesn't have two vowels in a row. Get there eventually. Feel unreasonably good about it.

Rules stack up as you play, and they cover everything — length, capitalization, symbols, digits, math, days of the week, chess pieces, compass directions, vibes, and whatever the "Retro Web" category is about (it's about "www", don't worry about it). The game makes sure the rules it gives you can actually be solved, so when you're stuck it's a you problem. Sorry.

It's a browser game, single file, no install. Just open it and go.

Good luck with your username.

the cutting off thing is also happening on chrome (chromebook)

I have to say, having the rule cut off below the bottom of the screen does add an interesting challenge...  (Windows; Firefox.)

Oh, Damn. I will be fixing that asap

i think i fixed it, can you try again

OK, works now. :-)  Was honestly surprised that almost everything was additive, i.e. I could just throw in another word or punctuation mark.  (On a second run I got "can't contain an N" and I had to change "king" to "rook" and then I had to change the initial "G" to "K", but pretty small.)  I was prepared to need to use "saturn" so that it could also satisfy the day-of-week rule, because a length limit would pop up.

Still, brief but entertaining. :-)

Thank you, hope you like it. If you have any feedback or any new bugs, you can send me a message here
